Earth to earth . . . The soil beneath us is the skin of our Mother the Earth. We humans do not always treat it with the care it deserves. Insecticides, herbicides, fuels, and chemicals of all kinds poison the soil. We scar it with erosion from poorly-planned agriculture and building practices. We cut down forests so the soil is baked to dust and blown away. May the Creator grant us forgiveness and amendment of life, that we may respect and love this precious resource. John
