Earwig 12/15/2014. Opus III was short lived techno project that released two albums in the early 1990s. Their cover of Its A Fine Day (originally recorded by Jane in 1983) brought them international acclaim and they had several other dance hits during their brief tenure. Most of their tracks lean heavily on house and trance music, but todays selection, the closer from their final album, abandons the dance floor in favor of the chill out room. Echoing synth loops and glittering bell samples swirl around a sedate, tribal beat while Hawkshaws vocals float in the stratosphere high above. Beautiful track. youtu.be/VZSvoU6se7A
