East Gaston tried to relax the schools dress code this year by letting the students wear tank tops and short that are not all the way down to the knees. Well guess what! It is only the 3rd day of school and the principal had to make the announcement this morning that No More Tank Tops can be worn to school bc some girls are taking it way too far. They are seeing way too many undergarments and skin. They can however wear sleeveless shirts that come to the end of the shoulder but if that cant be done tastefully then those too shall be band. Oh, the shorts cannot be short shorts (aka, Hootchie shorts) or they will go back to having to wear shorts to the knees again. Why cant these teenage girls just enjoy the Relaxed dress code and wear proper clothes to school? Why should just a few ruin it for every girl there?
