When I lived on South Street I NEVER photographed the Fulton Fish Market which I regret to this day. I didnt really know how to photograph at night with strong, contrasting street lights and huge men with sharp knives and deadlines were just a tad intimidating. I SHOULD have done it anyway. The only point Im trying to make is GO OUT and photograph your neighborhoods - grab your smartphone or your film/digital camera and photograph the ordinary, the everyday, the scenes that you take for granted but never really SEE; for they will all be GONE someday.
