East Street is now open from Confederation St to Exmouth St. Yaaay. Our section of the street has been closed since September 17. Kudos to the City of Sarnias construction supervisor, Scott Vey, who has been out there constantly overseeing the road, curb, sanitary sewer and storm sewer replacement project. He made them replace 120 metres of faulty curbs installed with a bad concrete mix and assured that wheelchair bound residents and old ladies in their 90s were safe and secure at all times. Garbage was taken away by workers and they would even help elderly people get their groceries from cars parked a block and a half away. Somebody should write the mayor. i think that I will...
