EastEnders Jane Beale will suffer wedding woes next week after receiving some upsetting news about her big day. Jane (Laurie Brett) is preparing to wed former husband Ian (Adam Woodyatt) for the second time after she proposed to him over Christmas. However, Jane is left doubting the impending nuptials when she hears that her mother wont be attending the celebration, which is scheduled for February. Following the disappointing news, Jane makes an unwise decision whilst out bridal dress shopping. Later, Ian is surprised when he spots Jane wearing the unflattering outfit and she storms out when she sees his negative reaction. After Sonia finds an upset Jane, the pair go for a drink in The Vic, where Sonia tells Jane to ignore her mothers comments about history repeating itself with Ian. Pleased to have Sonias support, Jane makes another decision about the wedding and announces that Sonia will be her matron of honour. Taking on her new bridesmaid duties, Sonia persuades Jane to forget her mothers cruel jibes and ditch her ill-advised wedding outfit for something more glamorous. Will Jane rediscover her enthusiasm for the wedding? EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, February 2 at 8pm BBC One.
