Easter. As with any great mystery, people make a mistake by critiquing before they experience.You cant explain Easter, you cant put it in a historical context. You either believe Christ is risen, and that means something, or you dont, and IF you dont its not because of some superior perspective, but because theres an experience you have not had, and which you fight off by skepticism. No judgment implied here. I have never had the high of scoring the winning touchdown in the Big Game, but Id be embarrassed to be caught demeaning it, because I wouldnt know what I was talking about. Of course you can hate Easter because you hate Christianity (I hate Christianity, and I am one). But thats like rejecting strudel because reprehensible people might have enjoyed it once.
