Eastern Connecticut lost a giant with the passing of Stanley Israelite, who lived 89 remarkable years. Stanley was an example to all in public service and to serving those in need. My heartfelt condolences go out to his widow Linda and all of Stanleys children and family. We will miss him dearly. Linda said it best, “He never was interested in anything for himself, just what he could do for someone else.
