Eastern Sky Media Galo Welfare Society felicitates meritorious students and achievers of its community. Galo Welfare Society (GWS) felicitate meritorious students and achievers in various fields from the Galo community at Siddhartha Hall, Itanagar. Apart from felicitating the students, GWS also felicitated the senior citizens, Socialist, Journalists, Professors, sports persons and Engineers of its society in recognition of their selfless contributions towards the growth and development of Galo society. In the occasion MLA cum Chief Patron of Galo Welfare Society, Engineer Tumke Bagra expressed his happiness to witness the young and talented students from the society and encourage them to do better in the years to come. Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex, Mige Kamki also spoke in the occasion and appreciated the students for their achievements. He further advised the younger generation to gather good knowledge and to preserve their culture and tradition. GWS felicitated students of Class-XII (Science) 2014 who have achieved 80% and above, Class- XII (Arts & Commerce) students who have achieved 70% & above, Class-X - cumulative grade point average, Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (APJEE)-2014 (PCB), APJEE-2014 (Diploma) and other achievers of the society. More than 35 students in different categories have been felicitated in the program. In the meantime a senior citizen footprint has been imprinted in the papers to honour their contribution to the society and to remember them in the days to come.
