Eastside Trunk Sewer Traffic Alert for week of March 17, 2014 NOTE: SEED FARM TO BE OPEN MONDAY (MARCH 17). WORK IN SOUTHWEST BOULEVARD ON MONDAY (MARCH 17) Starting Monday (3/17), Southwest Boulevard will be narrowed to two-lanes of traffic on the north side of Southwest Boulevard near the railroad tracks. As trenching continues east on Southwest Boulevard, the two-lane traffic will be shifted to the north side of the median. No closures of Southwest Boulevard are expected. Localized potholing and soils sampling will be occurring in Southwest Boulevard between the railroad tracks and Snyder with local lane flagging as needed. See Active Construction Area in map below Dewatering well abandonment along Avram Avenue may begin on Monday (3/17) as weather permits and continue for two weeks until Friday (3/29). West bound traffic (towards Commerce) will remain open, however eastbound traffic from Commerce to Avram will be closed and a detour will be in place. Expect delays during this time. Please see the map below for alternative detour routes. Traffic controls will be in place between 8 am and 4:30 pm daily Monday through Friday. Alternate routes are advised. Please drive carefully and obey all flaggers.
