Eating Regimes That Promote a Healthier Planet There are 3 main groups of eating regimes that I think help the planet and I’d like to explore them and explain why I think they are helpful, Veganism, Vegetarianism and the Paleo Diet/Rewilders. The factor that connects all of these eco friendly dietary regimes is the fact that they do not support GMO or industrial farming techniques! Even Paleo folk, who still consume meat, seek out wild meat sources, as they are not impressed with the treatment of animals in the factory farming system, nor do they trust the quality of the meat. Estimates are that 53 billion animals are killed yearly! For vegans and vegetarians, this is genocide, for Paleo folk, its cruel, unfair, unsanitary, drug infested and thus the meat is not safe for consumption. Animals were meant to be left in the wild and if u want to eat them, then find a hunter or become one. From the level of the biosphere, much of the food we produce on our factory farms, corn, hay, oats, is fed to animals who are then killed. In the process, we take huge tracts of land, valuable tracts, like Rain Forests that contribute on many levels to the biodiversity of the planet! These natural forests create huge quantities of oxygen, our prana and most essential first nutritional element. Ranching is the main reason the forests are being ravaged across the planet, in places like Brazil, Africa and Indonesia, to raise cattle, pigs and chickens. From the point of view of food production, animal factory farms represent a very inefficient way of creating food for humans and the practice itself threatens the availability of oxygen, without sufficient oxygen, we’ll all in big trouble. “It is in difference that we find a wider truth” and thus I encourage all people who are Vegans, Vegetarians and those that follow a Paleo diet to get along and stop the endless debate on which eating system works best! Let people make their own ethical decisions, listen to their bodies and feel good about the fact that all three dietary regimes do contribute to transforming the agricultural practices of the planet.
