Eating disorders have one of the highest mortality rates of all mental illnesses, and require intense treatment, which can cost upwards of $30,000 per month, yet insurance companies often refuse to cover these costs and most people cannot afford to pay out of pocket. Our scholarship program is our trademark service. We fund inpatient, residential and outpatient treatment for eating disorder sufferers who want to recover but do not have the financial means to do so. In order to be considered for the scholarship, the applicant must complete all questions on the application, and submit the application online. Our Clinical Advisory Board (CAB), a multidisciplinary group of experts who specialize in the treatment of eating disorders will review all applications for the quarter shortly after the application deadline.
