Eating healthy as a kid almost got me beat up a few times. I remember the big homie was holding court with a few of us in Loma Alta park. In the middle of it, I broke out a snack and started eating. Halfway through he got frustrated and said if you bite that Styrofoam one more time, Im gonna slap the shit out of you. At first I was a little startled, but then I got sad.
