Eating lunch, watching televised golf. I know many who watch televised golf--I find it boring. I dont golf. I dont care for any of the golfers or the analysts who sit and comment on the game or the players. As a physics guy, youd think I would like watching televised golf. Not really. Sure, theres physics involved, but its mostly instinct and skill of the slice and of choosing the right iron or wedge, not calculations. If they did sit and calculate stuff out at each tee, maybe it would be more physics oriented. Still--it would bore me. Maybe if they were trying to hit a moving target , like one of the announcers, or perhaps each other--that would be more of a sport to watch on TV. Helmets and body armor--yeah, they might need that.
