Ebola: Dr Kent Brantly said God saved my life, and some satirist have criticised him for his proclaimation, giving thanks to his heavenly Father. Yet, in the world, fathers and mothers easily take glory for how their children turn out, even if all they did was to give birth to those children. Many medical people have died from this disease, including one or so treated with the same drug which has not been scientifically proven as a cure. And many more people have been cured just by the conscentious care of diligent volunteer professionals without any special drug. In a situation where there is no proven cure and many have died and are dying, Dr Kent rightly accepts, that the divine leading that took him on a missionary trip to Africa brought him back to his family...and that does not preclude the kudos deserved by all those who cared for him along the way. Give honour to all whom it is due, and give glory to God who made all things possible.
