Ebola alert. There is one confirmed case of Ebola in Dakar - a student from Guinea - - now quarantined. the Govt/WHO/Embassy/PC - - everyone is on top of this. we were notified before the press. Not to fear. Precautionary rules are being broadcast non-stop. It is NOT contagious unless you are in direct contact with fluids of the infected. - - or eat infected bush meat. Rest assured, we are safe, all is under control and do not believe what the US Natl news says - - theyre trying to increase viewership. a few weeks ago, another guy from Guinea flew to Nigeria - infected. he was quarantined, the govt and health jumped on it, and I believe it is contained there. Weve heard no more.
