Ebola and disaster preparedness must taken seriously to protect our nations shores and nationals right to life. The people of Sierra Leone had little preparation before it was dealt with and contained. When early detected the issue was politicised and this added to the detriment of the spread. Around 8-9:00pm everyone is at home, no night clubs, no pubs, schools are not functioning, we dont shake hands. Their health system was already struggling before Ebola struck. We may not be as bad as Sierra Leone but our health care is already under strain and our politics is divided so it isnt far from the political and health climate as T&T. The Knights would like everyone to take precaution when traveling and meeting visitors that enter. Lets hope the appropriate state bodies are doing everything possible to protect T&T. The public and private health sectors, airports authorities and different bodies and individuals that have a role to play in any form of boarder control. #Ebola #KoL
