Ecclesiastes 3:11 God made everything beautiful in itself and in its time... Today they capped Addies trach to see how long she could manage breathing all on her own through her nose and mouth. They capped it at 10 a.m. and when I left her and Ralph at 7 she was still being a breathing rock star! This means the trach is soon to be gone! !! Tonight Ralph asked her how much she loved him- and he held up 1, 2, 3 fingers. She slowly raised four fingers! Such a sweetheart! Physio has been going well! Shes been working hard! Yesterday after a particularly hard session her therapist asked her if she wanted to try laying on her stomach. Addie took her signature thumbs up thumb and tucked it inside her fingers! Guess that means no! Today in physio Addie opened her right eye. Several times! We are learning to accept Gods timing and rejoice in each little miracle as it comes. God is good.... all the time.
