This Ecommerce Internship is the perfect opportunity to get started in the world of ecommerce (With our start up sister companies as well as the 50+ year old corporate brands ecommerce website) while being able to see the production behind the scenes as well. Our unique internship is a full time, three month program that allows our intern to conduct marketing and competitive research, assist in SEO, assist in weekly and monthly marketing analytic reports, learn and engage in production (of products sold on the ecommerce sites), assist with social media content creation and creative writing, conduct testing/ error prevention. The intern will be able to see many aspects of an online and offline business. Opportunities and responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assisting with weekly and monthly marketing reports • Competitive market research and reporting • Content creation and selection (Includes heavy writing) • Social Media content creation (Includes heavy writing & some design) • SEO data entry and development • Testing/ Error Prevention • Customer service • Writing job tickets & production follow up • Some basic design/image production About you: • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Very organized and a great note taker • A Junior or Senior currently obtaining a bachelors degree • Ability to prioritize objectives and meet deadlines • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Self motivated, proactive, capable of working independently and as part of a team • Energy and enthusiasm are essential • Experience with Excel • WordPress a PLUS • Magento experience a PLUS • File Maker experience a PLUS • Basic Adobe Suite experience a PLUS The right person will be willing and able to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
