Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter October 22, 2014: Libra’s Destiny Today is the last day of Libra. Tomorrow morning the Sun enters the next sign Scorpio. The Moon is also now in Libra until later tomorrow afternoon when it enters Scorpio. The characteristics described in this newsletter are relevant for Libra Sun signs and for anyone with a Libra emphasis in their horoscope. For example, you may not be Virgo or Scorpio Sun but your Mercury, Venus and Mars may be in Libra which certainly gives you Libra-like needs and characteristics. Libra, ruled by Venus the planet of joy and love, wants to have fun and expand its life by connecting with people through communication and cooperation. Libra is the relationship sign. Being alone and cut off from the world is not for Libra. It lives to be with people and depends a lot on their approval. The key word for Libra is harmony. Libra is the peacemaker but it can give up a lot trying to maintain the peace by holding back anger and refusing to face life’s disagreements and unpleasantries. Libra is certainly more friendly, pleasant, cordial, personable, engaging and charming than most signs. There is a dislike for strife. The harsh behaviors of others can be repulsive. We should all learn from our opposite sign. For Libra it’s Aries. Aries is much more independent while Libra does not act alone and is much more affected by what other people think of them. Aries is me-first while Libra is other-directed. Aries is action while Libra thinks about it. Aries is antsy and impulsive (let’s get going) while Libra is passive and fence-sitting (I can’t make up my mind). Aries pushes and asserts while Libra is more passive and cooperative. Libra is also a creative and artistic sign. It’s ruler Venus is related to music, acting, theater, parties, entertainment, photography, beauty, fashion, modeling, decorating, painting, design, and the fine arts.
