Ed and I enjoyed Potluck at NuNus tonight. It was amazing! So many people! The Mayor welcomed the new French Consulate and St Landry Parish president Bill Fontenot and St Landry Economic Development Director, Bill Rodier were there. Elected officials from other communities were there. Im not sure if people realize what a BIG deal it is to have this calibre dignitary come to a small town like Arnaudville. When they come, they bring a large entourage with them, and attract enormous attention to our wonderful community. THEN, they go back and spread the word. Ill get flack for saying it, but every elected official as well as those seeking office should be attending as many of these types of functions as possible! Town pride and promoting town pride should be part of the job.
