Ed is still in the nursing home he hates it and wants to come home i try to help him there and he gets angry and screams at me i am unsure if i will be able to take care of him anymore i cannot lift on him or help him out of the floor it just hurts me way too much , and his atititude has gotten horrid , it was not my idea to put him in there we had no choice the hospital chose that after we found him after being at Pinehurst just one night with a bag of black urine severly dehydrated none of his oxygen or breathing treatments had been used on him he had no clue who we were could not talk at all !! i just found out last night that Pinehurst shoved a tube down his throat damaging his throat and now he has trouble swallowing any water i went to visit him last night he grabbed my bottle of water and nearly sucked it all down i checked his drinking cup it had filthy nasty white stuff floating in it i asked the nurse to clean it and fix him some fresh water she dumped it into the sink and proceeded down the hall i asked her to come back and wash the cup out and rodney asked her to dry the inside of the cup making her mad , when i got there i called for nurse twice ed was hanging out of the bed about to fall onto the floor on his hips ,he still has no garbage can of his own in his room and the tvs they installed combat each others with his room mate when one changes the channel it changes both tvs so i unplugged it i called and asked that he be moved to his own room since his room mate is scary rude and downright mean , Ed he is unshaven and did not smell of fresh bath as i was told by a friend he had today he had had no bath today , i am unsure how many more days he has for therapy but have heard of no therapy being done that i know of to get him walking and talking and swallowing again when i go see him he is always falling out of the bed or is just laying in the bed , monday i will find out about home health care and hope fully get him a bed here and get him some help so that he can come home i do not want him dying alone in no nursing home .... his friends nor family go and see him anymore just mary and rodney and i so maybe his bad manners are a result of being felt abandoned since i was so sick from chemo the last 2 days i could not go see him ,,,,
