Eddie Vedder - Society - Into the Wild Soundtrack I So Much Love This Song.. Because Of What He Is Singing About... I Listen To It At Least Once A Day, most of the time its a lot more lol !! Have you ever just wanted to chunk it all and leave Society behind, and never look back ? To live someplace far far away in the hills, where there is no traffic, no sirens, no more sounds of gun fire coming from the house next to you, or the house behind you. Nothing has to be locked away for fear of someone taking from you, and and the air is filled with the perfume of the Cedar Trees, and wild honey suckle. Its just you, or maybe two.. Nothing but you, or you and a mate, and nature as it should be, untouched by man.. Clean, Free, & Wild. Where the Stars look like Diamonds shining so bright across a black velvet sky, you could sit out near the river, campfire light dancing with the the wind, the crackling sound is their music.. You have youre sleeping bag outside beneath the skys near youre tent, or cabin, and you can hear the wind as it dances through the big Cypress Trees that line the rivers edge like guardian angels looking over you.. You listen and close youre eyes, and you can hear the whisper of the wind before you feel the cool breeze wash across your flesh, and you can finally breathe... A place where there is no pressure to conform to Societys way. You look around and smile, because you are finally free, and you have what you need all around you, a gun and a good bow for hunting, a cane pole for fishing, fresh Algabretta berries for breakfast, fresh caught trout for lunch, deer meat, or quail, or rabbit for dinner, no GMOs, no more poison preservatives, and things in your food that isnt even food anyway,,,, but here, youre body is fed by clean meat, & berries, wild yam, you can drink from the cool spring water, that flows out clean from deep in the hills, eventually finding its way down to the river. You can have a feast fit a King if you know the land, and its secrets... simple shelter, nothing fancy, but its home.. And its yours for the keeping... And no ones going send you an eviction notice because lost your job or whatever the case may be, and no association telling you what youre home should look like, as in the City, in Society... If you could, would you go ? Leave it all behind ? I would, and the land I speak of is my familys property outside of Junction TX set way off in the hills.. I would. Its beautiful !! If I could Id pack down my Bike, and ride away to those Hills where my best memories were made as I grew.. My sister and I on our horses, playing, riding into town, barrel racing at the TX youth rodeo every Saturday night.. In Bandera TX.. Swimming in the Medina River. Oh it was the Best Time Of My Life !!! Maybe, I will be able to return to the place I love the most... Way back in the Texas Hill Country... Nothing can compare to living there.. Like riding my Motorcycle, there are no words to describe that feeling.. And no you do not know, and no one can explain, you will only know, if you ride.. Oh whata dream., if I were not ill, and did not have the need for so much medication so Im able to stay alive.. Id Go.. Darryl and I, uncle Dennis and our Dogs.., yall would have to come see me.., cause if I could live in those hills.., Id never leave them.., and All my friends could ride on up to see me, and I could take you all out on back roads that would take your breath away.. And these roads arent on any MC Rally route, like the Devils Backbone.. Thats nothing in comparison to the places my Sister and I know all around those Hills.... Whata Dream, So Close, But so far away.., maybe Ill wake up there some day..,
