Edgar Froese passed away this week which makes me very sad as he was the founding member of one of the most influential electronic bands ever: Tangerine Dream. Apart from Kraftwerk, you wouldnt have Ambient, Drum N Bass, Trip Hop, Trance...u name it. A career spanning over 40 years and well over 120 albums to their name. What makes it more pertinent to me is that he wrote one of the most defining songs in my life that resonates in both my past and my future.
