Edgar Lungu was born on 11th November, 1956. He is a learned man a Lawyer by profession, he graduated from University of Zambia on 17th October 1981 as one of the best students. He worked at ministry of justice, Barclays bank, ZCCM and other companies and he joined UPND under Underson Mazoka before HH could come into picture, but before politics, he was a sounding lawyer under Andre Masiye and Company firm in Lusaka and later he decided the court room was not big enough for him to change people’s lives so he joined politics under Mazoka until after a while when he observed that the late Michael Sata was very vibrant with positive energy to sweep Zambia off her feet so he joined PF and started organizing the party in Chawama at household grass root level and thats how Edgar Lungu came into being a politician from a practicing competent Lawyer! He is currently Defense and Justice Minister, Chawama Member of Parliament and PF secretary General!!.. Edgar Lungu is a very intelligent man! I wouldnt mind voting for such a man to take over from where my Sata left!..
