Edgars Capsule Collection designer Gert-Johan Coetzee has always been dedicated to using his fashion as a platform to confront and create awareness for issues surrounding women. His collection, shown at SAFW on Wednesday evening, looked at the HIV virus and its tough impact on our local society. The collection felt retro with a colour palette inspired by the African sun & metallics representative of our rich mineral soil. The show had a transitional feel of gentle cooler colours, a pop of orange and a touch of sparkle to end it off. Easy to wear wrap dresses & in house designed printed gave his collection a refined twist for the modern woman.
