Edgemoor, SC: William James “Jimmy” Wilson, 82, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 26, 2014 at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Woody Oliver officiating. The family will receive friends anytime at the home, 5134 Wylies Mill Road, Edgemoor, SC 29712. Mr. Wilson was born in Fort Lawn, SC on July 30, 1931. He was a son of the late J.J. Wilson and Gillie Allen Wilson. He was a graduate of Fort Lawn High School, was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. Mr. Wilson was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and Woodman of the World. He was the widower of Elizabeth Black Wilson. He is survived by two sons; Mark Wilson and David Wilson(Lisa) all of Edgemoor, SC; four grandchildren, Lenna W. Wishert (Matt) of Fort Lawn, SC, Emily W. Huffstickler (Lee), Cole Wilson (Haylie) and Gil Wilson all of Edgemoor, SC and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by two sisters, Reba Lenzini and Nell DeMarco. Memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 5403 Harmony Church Road, Edgemoor, SC 29712.
