Edinboro University students are getting ready to R.A.K.E. The universitys annual Random Acts of Kindness (or R.A.K.E.) event is set for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. During R.A.K.E., students rake leaves from lawns of area residences, especially the elderly and disabled, to beautify the area. About 300 students typically volunteer to help take care of borough residents’ homes each fall.
