Edinburg, VA-Shenandoah County Animal Shelter (transport via PETS, LLC is available) Heres an email I recd (and I have permission to post it on FB): At 10 months old, Babette is an attractive mix of Red Heeler and Corgi Mix with LOTS of energy. She likes to play ball and enjoys being outside running off her energy. Babette is spayed and current on all of her vaccinations. We have tested her for food, cat, and dog aggression. She was absolutely petrified of the cats but did bark out of curiosity. Babette was not aggressive with her food but she did become very pushy when the access-a-hand was placed in her bowl. She is however picky of her canine friends. I think she would do best in a home with no other dogs or with a dog that can tolerate her level of energy or a canine that can play with her to burn off the excess energy. She has 10X the energy she normally would have because she has been pent up the shelter for two months. Everyone thinks she is cute but once they meet her and see her energy level they do not take her. She tries so hard to please and does not understand why she is always left behind. Babette would be an excellent dog with the right person who has the patience and time to teach her to be a young lady.
