Editing my book. Valentines Day was a significant time marker to the events of the day. The house I had once lived in at 175 East Carlson Avenue, Midvale, UTAH... Who lives there now, after all these years? Valentines Day is coming... and maybe its time for me to make some Valentines cards and mail them to that address! I had not intended to include that particular experience in book, of seeing Valentines Images during my near death experience... but it kept coming to my mind that this particular part of the memory was significant. So, here is a portion of what I added to my book this morning: --- Visions of the past, the future, or both continuously passed through my spirit all at once. It was incredible! I cannot recall much of what I saw, but for some reason, this moment, watching my mother walking home, is a powerful and lucid memory. Surrounding her, imprinted in the air above our house, within the energy fields of blue light, I believe I saw the artwork of a child. It was a Valentine heart shape drawn on white paper and colored with crayons. Was this my artwork? Was this something I had already made or was it something I would make in the future? I wanted to stop time, to go back and make Valentine decorations and place them on the windows and the front door of our house! ... ....Because this singular image of a hand made Valentine was placed in that vision like a land mark, and the desire of making hand made Valentine’s Day decorations has remained with me through the years, I am certain that this truth was part of the teaching moment of that day! Making Valentine Cards and treats and sharing them with others in my neighborhood was imprinted upon me with strength and became sealed up in my heart! Many times through out my life I have imagined returning to that house on Valentine’s Day and bringing sugar cookies and handmade Valentine decorations and cards! .... Above all, the wish of my heart was that Valentine’s Day would return to that house at 175 East Carlson Avenue in Midvale, and remain forever! Let love to be imprinted upon that house with enough strength to soften the pain and help heal the scars of the abuse that we had suffered! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- My mothers influence had a major impact on my artwork as a child. It became a tradition of making cookies and treats and taking them to others, especially on Valentines Day! Last night, Ryan Johnson who manages DAISIECOMPANY was working on new Valentine Printables and I realized how my mothers talents had impacted generations.
