Editor - The Goan on Saturday, Ajay Thakurs latest addition to his column Eagle Eye explores how politicians make statements , retract them and look for a way to make the media the scapegoat for the blame game hiding behind the case of misquotation. Goan politicians don’t listen to Bob Marley. Even the journalists (except for a few good ol’ bad boys like us) don’t listen to him. So when earlier last week a national debate raged on whether wearing a bikini is okay on Goa’s beaches and whether pubs in the state be banned, it was Marley that we all remembered. Especially his powerful rendition of the Heathen which says “As a man sow, shall he reap. and I know that talk is cheap”. Yeah, indeed, Bob. Talk is cheap in Goa. Read the entire post here .
