Editorial Advisor - ISPS Academic Publications Series ISPS, in - TopicsExpress

Editorial Advisor - ISPS Academic Publications Series ISPS, in conjunction with Routledge, is initiating a series of academic publications. This series will have a more specialised focus than the existing book series, enabling material (often research-based) to reach an interested audience without having to appeal to such a wide range of readers as the book series. We think that the readership for the academic series may be a largely new one for ISPS, and anticipate that a high proportion of sales will be to academic institutions. Some of these institutions, and the readers who are based in them, may be in areas or countries where ISPS is not established. Routledge will act as editors for the new series, but ISPS are seeking to appoint an Editorial Advisor (unpaid) whose main task will be to check that publications are ones that ISPS will be happy to be linked with - that they are likely to promote the use or understanding of psychological and social approaches to psychosis. Where possible they will also assist Routledge in identifying possible reviewers for submissions for the series. They will have support in their role from the existing book series editors, Alison Summers and Nigel Bunker. For this role we are seeking someone with a good understanding of the ethos of ISPS, whose interest in psychological and social aspects of psychosis is relatively broad, has experience of writing on the subject, and has links with some academic institutions. They will need to be able to respond to submitted manuscripts within a short time frame. To express an interest in this role, or for further information, please e-mail Alison Summers, at [email protected] by 19th May. If expressing an interest, please include a brief curriculum vitae, and a short paragraph outlining what you feel you would bring to the role.
