Editorial #BANKISSOFLOVE My dear friends, we would like to convey our heartfelt thanks for your supports to our page. We started our counter campaign against Kiss of Love around a month back; actually we are not interested to name our page as “BANKISSOFLOVE”, since we are not against Kiss, Hugh, expression of emotions in a socially acceptable manner. It’s happened because the community started this page only intended to stop KOL in Marine Drive Cochin @ Kerala on 2/11/2014; so they chooses this name. We requested the help of more senior people to assist us, when we realized the organized nature of KOL is something fishy. When we decided to change the name to a nationalistic aspect, we already crossed the limits prescribed to do so. But we pushed our efforts to open healthy debates, sharing information’s and light up the ulterior motives of KOL through social media. We are so thankful to the good souls from the northern Hindi region to assist us, and joined hand to circulate our message. We hope we still able comply with the integrity we are possessing in each page posts. From the very beginning a lot of sisters asked me why you are against KOL, they are only protesting against moral police and fights for the freedom to mingle freely irrespective of cast creed religion and gender in public spaces. We explained to these misunderstood sisters about the origin and evolution of KOL. The idea of KOL conceived in Kerala by a group of people, who possess irrational thoughts and always tried to propagate the same via social Medias. The said anarchist started a face book page named “FREETHINKERS”, and started circulating their propaganda. A lot of innocent people joined the group, and later left the same due to the unacceptable thoughts. The academic qualification of the freethinkers is philosophy/LLB+Feminst/Journalist/Engineering/MSW etc, mostly the subjects which hypnotize your own thoughts. The group was mainly masterminded some people having Naxal back ground, they are currently serving as the eyes and ears of Naxals in Kerala. As we know Kerala Police, Revanue, departments are infected with Naxal spies. Kerala witnessed a dramatic increase in Naxal attacks, parallel to the KOL movement. Kerala Police special task force was attacked by Naxals on the same day KOL conducted their campaign in Kozhikode. The slogans they raised in Kozhikode are the same slogans, which is popular in Naxal Barrie. More alarming factor is that, those who are active in this group are not aware of the Naxal involvement behind KOL. Almost all Keralite students organized KOL resembles outside Kerala are former SFI members, and new born Naxal babies, this will be really frustrating for Parents. We wish the central government need to take special interest over the issue and probe the KOL movement. We request all supporters to stick with us to promote a new social improvement in Naxal affected areas.
