Editors note: This bond hearing report came directly from police reports/testimony in court. After speaking with someone familiar with the situation, details of the reported incident became clearer. Overturf and the others he was with allegedly repeatedly entered and left the convenience store acting suspiciously. The suspicions about their behavior were only heightened by the sight of the gun, thus the call to police. Once the police arrived, the meth and other things were found. The person who made the call did not do so simply because someone was carrying a gun, but because the erratic behavior of the suspect aroused suspicion about a possible threat to the safety of the store, its workers and its customers.
