Edmond sez: Rant. Also can be construed as the worst compliment ever. Meg Myers kinda freaks me out. Its like Trent Reznor and Lady Gaga raised a kid, both lyrically and musically. On one hand: Its like everything I like in a song, some darkness, some pop, some semblance of ability to make a song not boring even when its the same chord riff through the whole thing, and some pretty decent lyrics. On the other hand: Its like someone took everything *I* love in a song and turned ALL THE DISTORTION (Even tape saturation used in pop.) off. I guess my gripes are a personal preference, which is on *me*. Also on *me* is that although this girl seems very at home with her naked-ness, and Im VERY against slut-shaming, all her videos so far seem like they were made by American Apparel. Which is FINE for some. (No slut shaming ever.) But this chick seems 18 and Im not cool with staring at an ass that young. (Again personal preference.) I *am* still listening to her often, soooooo theres that I guess. End Rant
