Educate A Girl. Change The World. Make every childs dream to get an education come true. Greg Mortenson (CAI co-founder) is prodding everyone to get more involved with girls’ education. He says: What is it with the world? We have been to the moon, sent satellites to land on Mars and beam back photos, have Internet, wireless, IT, electricity, running water, nuclear bombs, antibiotics, electron microscopes, artificial hearts, cures for hundreds of diseases, cell phones, 16-hour commercial plane flights, drive-in fast food and banking, and much more, but we are not able to give every child on the planet their right to an education. Politicians will never get it done. The only way is one child at time. And every one of our planets 7 billion people can be involved. UNESCO issued a report in June 2014 stating that, after a robust start with the Global Millennium Goals, little progress had been made to get every child in school. Were faltering and failing. There are still 121 million children in the world not in school (58 million primary-level and 63 million older students). About 60 percent of those are girls. Lets do it, one child at a time.
