Education can simultaneously be student-centered, - TopicsExpress

Education can simultaneously be student-centered, teacher-centered, and subject-centered in the concentricity of these three educational factors. What i mean is that the freedom of learning that children should have can only be had within the structure of the objective demands of the subject taught and the efficiency and exemplarity of the teacher who taught it. Also, this means that the limitless possibility of the how and what of learning is impossible to attain in the context of the objectivity of the requirements of the subject for we may be able to discover more than one way to truth but truth itself excludes all other possibilities as erroneous. In the realm of art, which is undeniably subjective, student-centered education may prove to be dominant but even there there is no such thing as limitless possibilities for the moment the artist makes one artistic action he makes them by choosing it over all other possibilities thereby barring those possibilities forever while they remain possibilities in theory. The bottom line is that there is no such thing as absolute freedom, freedom is always connected with truth that founds it and structures it so that being founded on truth and being structured by truth it finds itself sustained in existence-- absolute freedom can only be a fleeting freedom, a slave of time. Moreover, generating ideas is not had by trying your best to be original. Originality is in fact had when one is not trying to attain it but is faithful to the demands of the science, the art, or the action. The subjective contribution of originality best thrive in the faithfulness to objective reality, for reality in fact is full of surprises while our mental schemes and instruments are not, as they say, truth is stranger than fiction.
