Education is most potent weapon of emancipation, empowerment and enlightenment, and for long it was monopolised by the caste beneficiaries along with other strategic resources like power prestige and prosperity. Social transformation movement initiated by the likes of JOTIBA PHULE culminated in producing the finest treatise of democratic empowerment called Constitution. Since then, the headquarters of brahamanical ingenuity are crumbling under their own superstitions. Delhi University has successfully survived the on-going Dalit-Bahujan democratisation march so far. But the Phule-Ambedkar consciousness has insidiously entered the university and is determined to smash the vicious casteist falsehood with the disdain it deserves. The last ditch efforts by the brahamaincs to save caste citadel, attempting audaciously to stop the democratisation of the Delhi University, are the last flickers of a dying flame. SCSTOBCs are coming together to own their dignified due as the battle for them is for self-respect, dignity and reclamation of human personality. The preparations for the deep burial of the brahamanical carcass are in the last stage and any attempt to the contrary, by tempering with the constitutional provisions by the descendants of Manu, of any ideological pretentions right, left or centre, is bound to generate stinking and filthy odour. The writing is there on the wall- ‘Vested interests have never been known to have willingly divested themselves unless there was sufficient force to compel them.’
