Education is part of my DNA, because I am retired does not mean that life has come to a halt. Yesterday I bought a new car and the salesman that waited on me recognized me from over 30 years ago. He was some of the first Cambodian refuges to come into this country and I had the pleasure of teaching 9 of them the first year they came in. I was a volunteer at that time . He said he remembered me because I taught him English and how to be a good American. It touched my heart to think that any one of us can bring life to a soul through education. He is successful and happy, I feel successful and happy.
