Education is the bedrock of an independent nation therefore the feature of a nation lies on the seriousness the government of the nation have for education. However the case in Nigeria is quiet different over the years, out of the total population estimate of Nigeria about 170 million people of which made Nigeria the most black populated country in the Africa continent and the world in general. it was observe that about 20% are semi-educated while 30% are educated even at that we shouldnt be happy because the numbers of Nigerians that are un-educated are equivalent to the educated Nigerians which means we are still lacking behind and we need to step up our game in the educational sector of the nation. That is to say, one of the major factors and root causes bedvelling Nigeria independent government and society all these years is the inability of government functinaries in the pass and present to make Education a focal point of the nationa plans meanwhile government ministries, parastatals and agencies is dutty band to widespread education among the people and every nook and cranny of the country and likewise introducing pragmatic measures for those who desire to be educated to access reliable knowledge as the light and the way forward of having a better life and as well enhancing the ugly situation of things in the country. Sometimes, it is painful seeing Nigerians children littering on the street and every corner of Nigeria hawking while school section is on. If Nigeria must grow from her dependence in technology, dependence and lack of building the nation economy, inability of fostering the nation oil sector then the government and government officials at the helms of government affaires must do everything within her power to ensure every household taste the essence of been educated. Government should ensure every Nigerian must be educated and the task to see every Nigerian gain good education should be the number one priority of every nation with a running government entrusted to run the people affaires. every Nigerian must read and write of his or her own that will go a long way to minimize the incessant hardship of poverty and ignorance rocking the country for long to a final bus-stop. Nigerian must step up her education strategies because one of the reasons why Government officials lacks the pedigree of playing a good leadership role when call upon to do so in their own capacities is because they are ignorant of having a better education while growing up and therfore they mislead the people and rule the people with iron hand instead of beein dipolmatic with their subjects. Nigeria government must stand up for education from now on, and ensure education remains the nation watchword before any other thing. As a matter of fact, Nigeria government have the potencial of given schoolarship awards from nursery to secondary if so wish even schoolarship to merited students to study any course of their choice in any university in the country. That is why it is imperative the federal government of Nigeria build standard universities of world class with every neccessary structures in it to boost the learning atmoshphere. The government must understand that charity begins at home, we are tired of seeing parence sending their children abroad to study all because of sending their children to obtain a better education which we strongly Nigerian government can do better if the right people are voted or appointed into power and leadership capacities to pilot the affaires of the nation. Nigeria three tiers og government must understand the value of education. it is one of the measures of eroding social ills degenerated as a result of been un-educated, in addition not knowing your role to play in the society and not contributing to the developent of the society which suppose not to be a common phiniomenon. Nigeria must spure her education to achieve a better society free from miscrant and hulloms.
