Education never stops. Not for me. At 33 I have finally listened to MLKs Beyond Vietnam speech. I have two main thoughts. This speech sparked the emotions that would murder him a year later. Second, I marvel at this display of international awareness from both him and the contributing supporters. Very impressive Dr King. After hearing this speech...I come to the conclusion that Americas future died with him. [I recognize that is an incendiary thing to say, but the patterns of American history cannot be debated. Most of the truth is easy to find]. Please give an hour to MLK and consider the implications. Here is it then: youtu.be/3Qf6x9_MLD0 I found the speech here: mediaroots.org/mlk-gandhi-the-uncomfortable-truths-history-books-wont-touch/ (thank you Abby).
