Educational Org Area Sales Manager Job Location: Kerala, Delhi, Haryana, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Indore, Bhopal, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kolhapur. Job Summary: The Area Sales Manager will report to and will work in partnership with respective Zonal Manager to develop and implement the sales plan for Computer Masti in the respective regions. Key Responsibilities: Primary Tasks: 1. Identify, manage and secure existing and new account and continue to maintain a high level of sales achievement. 2. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails. 3. Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing potential customers with quotations. 4. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales. 5. Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office. 6. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. 7. Maintain up-to-date information on all customer interactions. 8. You will be expected to spend a major part of your time out of the office in meeting the clients. Travel is a major factor and is predicted to be across the State with some overnight stops. Secondary Tasks: 1. Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback to the organization. 2. Identifying new markets and business opportunities. 3. Marketing efforts at workshops, seminars and camps. 4. Developing a good knowledge of the school Eco-system; demand, competition and prices. Skills and qualities desired: 2 -4 Years of Sales experience out of which 1-2 year of experience in Academic Sales with similar product 1-2 years experience in interaction with the various stakeholders of a typical School eco-system in respective State. Prior experience in Sales in Academic organizations. Possessing keen awareness of the educational scenario in the respective State. Having a strong understanding of customer requirements and market dynamics. Should have high level of fluency in English as well as local language, both oral and written Should have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
