Edward Snowden confirmed what many of us already knew. Freedom is in many ways an illusion in America. He should not be condemned for exposing an infringement on YOUR rights, YOUR privacy. If he did something to help North Korea or some other maniac government, then he should be punished, but he did NOT do that. He INFORMED the AMERICAN people that they have NO PRIVACY and that the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT is building a case against YOUR actions just as many american corporations build a case to fire any employee at any time because it is impossible to do your job and not break a rule, the NSA is collecting information on YOU and YOUR habits. Edward Snowden did what he did for YOU and to charge him with treason is to say he helped an enemy of America, which would make YOU, the American Citizen, The ENEMY of America who Edward Snowden informed and helped. THINK ABOUT WHAT THAT MEANS. Your government considers you their enemy.
