Eeeeek!! New saddle arrived today. Thank you again everyone that let me try saddles, we settled on a FQHB premier saddle which was a little over my budget but boy am I glad I went for it, loads of room for his shoulder, didnt slip back or tip at all when I lunged him in it (every other saddle I have tried has moved the moment he does), Ive set it up on 3/4 rigging and that seems to work well for his big shoulders. Had a little pootle down the road to cool off and there was no tail swishing or rushing, just happy relaxed pony :-).
