Eeesh!!! So okay, Kelli Rohan Barrieau!!!! You gave me the #6. So here are 6 things people probably dont know about me: 1. Back in the mid 1980s I took the written and physical agility tests at the police academy in Fort Lauderdale. I had hoped to become a police officer but was passed over 4 times for male applicants! (Thank goodness because I would rather put bandaids on people than chase them down the street yelling, Freeze, you .......!) 2. While trying to get into the police academy back in the mid 80s, on my PTO I went to every law enforcement training I could, like the interrogations class and the FBI fingerprint analysis training and crime scene training. I was so disappointed the nunchakkas class was full! :) 3. I really do make a tremendous effort to curb my mouth, lol. I really am a total, bonkers New Yorker that has the full capacity to say, What the h......? more than anyone may imagine! And you all thought my mouth couldnt get much worse, huh? :) 4. I truly love people. I enjoy learning where people are from, what they like and dont like, whats important to them and what would make them happy. I can look at someone who is hurting and even if I dont know them, I hurt. 5. I can throw a pretty wicked punch when I want to, lol. I once punched a man when he grabbed my arm. Hey, he shouldnt have grabbed my arm, okay? :) 6. This is something Ive just come to realize more myself. I have absolutely chosen the right profession for me. After almost 18 years, nursing has never been more rewarding for me. I am incredibly honored to care for cancer patients and there is nothing I would rather do.
