Effective 7:30am, NJ Governor Chris Christie lifted his travel ban order across the Garden State. Heavy snow fell overnight along eastern New Jersey and snow continues to fall over a large part of the state; if you venture out, drive with care: it takes just a small amount of wintry precipitation to make a big travel headache. Further northeast, many roads remain impassable across eastern Long Island and southeastern New England where more than 20 of snow fell and continues to fall. Continue to shelter in place there until local/state officials give the all-clear. Stay safe!
