Effing truck tells me that the brake pads are worn and need to be replaced. Call the dealership and they tell me its going to be around $900 (I think that was per axle - so only 2!!!). Take it to the mechanic next door (whos going to do all 4 for around $250) and he lets me know the pads are good for at least another 8 months to a year and nothing needs to be done. So the truck says to take it to the dealership way before it needs it and then the dealership wants charge around 7 times what it should cost - thats quite a racket.
