Egbabor receives Campaign Organization, assures on the implementation of campaign promises. The members of the Egbabor Campaign organization has visited the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor to congratulate him on his successful election and subsequent assumption of office. Speaking at the occasion, the Director-General of the Egbabor Campaign Organization Hon. Chief Apar Itesah said they were at the Chairmans office to rejoice, felicitate and congratulate him on his assumption of office. He used the opportunity to thank the leaders of the Isoko North PDP especially, SSG Delta State Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay, Deputy Majority Leader House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor as well as Member representing Isoko North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Barr. Sir Tim Kome Owhefere and other leaders for the dynamic way they have been piloting the affairs of the PDP in Isoko North. Chief Itesah noted that Isoko North was the most peaceful LGA in the state during the just concluded Local government elections as well as the House of Assembly PDP Primaries because of the cooperation and direction of purpose among the leaders of the party. While describing the members of the party in the area as the peaceful and loyal party men, Chief Apar said the victory wouldnt have been landslide if not for the antecedents of the Executive Chairman Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor whose grassroots credentials is not in doubt. He went further to urge the Chairman to endeavor to take Isoko North Local Government to the highest peak while also praying that he will surely be elevated to a higher office as soon as he leaves office as Chairman. I charge you to make your mark in the sands of time so that you will be remembered for the good things you did for the Council while in office. If you excel well here no doubt you will be elevated to a higher office as soon as your tenure expires. He said Chief Itesah also thanked the Chairman for appointing a member of the Campaign Organization Hon. Anthony Odhe as his Vice-Chairman. In his response, the Executive Chairman Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor thanked the Campaign organization for the visit. I thank you all for the selfless work you did for me during the campaigns. Words are not enough to express my profound appreciation to you all for the support during the elections. I must commend you all for putting up a very virile campaign strategy that overwhelmingly saw to our landslide victory. Our performance in the election no doubt is a pointer to the fact that you were the best Campaign Organization ever. I want to assure you that all the campaign promises we made shall be implemented to the letter subject to the availability of funds. To this end, we are planning a thank you visit cum town hall meeting with the 13 Wards to thank the people for electing us and to consult them on what they want the government to do for them. The ones we can do we will take them up and the ones beyond us will be channeled to the appropriate higher authorities. Beyond that we also intend to provide School uniforms and books to primary school pupils in the local government. This gesture is born our of our belief that education is key to the development of our people. It would be recalled that the Egbabor campaign organization was constituted in 2012 with a former Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Hon. Chief Apar Itesah as Director-General. High point of the visit was the presentation of souvenirs to the Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
