The recent verdict of 7 to 10 yrs in prison for Al Jazeera English reporters, as well as tens of thousands detained without charge and the impending human historical record to hang more than 100, is barbaric and outrageous. Just the day before this verdict John Kerry was in Cairo and made an international statement about how confident he is with Egypts commitment to democratic path only to have once again their dictator buddies throw egg in their face with yet another outright violation of human and international rights. FYI, Americans a few days before this US very quietly waived ban on funding and gave Egypt military $572 M of your taxpayer $s and another $200+M is investment (lol...multinationals are in cahoots with Egyptian military in biz for decades. what social expenditure investment does this represent?) Yup, its small potatoes as the saying goes. to the BILLIONS by their Saudi friends. At the same time, for the courageous friends of the Arab Spring, my deep and sincere empathy and sympathy. And they sell democracy, freedom, human rights, while dealing us all a system of pure genocide wrapped in power, greed and $--bullshit. The oppressed and persecuted and as a result of the so many killed will unleash a terror that these masters cannot control. May we all be saved from this scourge
