Egyptians need to change. Change needs Change Agents. The Youth can should be the Change Agents. Just one youth in every apartment building can be change champion. He/she could lead the change to save energy, water, and garbage. To save energy he/she can promote the use of energy efficient bulbs, and reduce power consumption during peak hours etc. Same for saving water, by fixing any leaking tabs. For Garbage, the building champion, can teach the neighbours about the 3R. That is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Like the west, we need to reduce the amount of garbage. We need to reuse the shopping bags, printer paper, etc and learn to recycle the paper, glass, metal, and plastic. Old Egyptians got used to old habits and not aware of the 3Rs. The hope is young internet-savvy Egyptians will be lead the change to green.
